Space Week - Oct 2025

We really enjoyed listening to Dr. Camilletti talk to Yrs 9, 10 & 11 and sixth form scientists.  He shared fascinating information about what it would be like to be an astronaut living in space and also told us about the discoveries from space that are currently benefitting our lives on Earth.  The idea of travelling to Mars and finding life there blew our minds and we really enjoyed how we're using the moon to test out our technology.  It was helpful to see that sustainability is also impacting the design of space exploration, which made us appreciate that humans do care about not only our planet, but our universe.  Dr. Camilletti stayed at the end to answer all our questions and inspired us to find out more about space and potentially to work in the industry with a company like Airbus.
